Long working directories overwrote startup memory

ProblemA current directory of 260+ UTF-16 units was copied into a slot sized for MAX_PATH, so the next strings overwrote it.
ApproachReserve max(MAX_PATH, actual bytes + NUL) in both the initial and child-process startup paths and report that capacity in DosPath.MaximumLength. Short paths are unchanged.
ValidationASan/UBSan harness compiles the real allocation and packing code; base fails, patch passes. The modified file also compiles for iOS arm64. A pre-existing, unrelated test failure is disclosed in the PR.
UpstreamMaintainer squashed it onto main as 16b3382b, keeping my authorship and sign-off.

From PR #456, tested on an Apple M1 Pro (MoltenVK and Metal).

ProblemIn MoltenVK 1.4.2, vkGetPipelineCacheData failed unless the caller made a NULL-size query first, which the Vulkan spec does not require.
ApproachOne-file backport moving the size calculation ahead of both export branches, a pinned source-build helper, and a Windows x64 / macOS regression. A separate PR (#400) added an opt-in Wine→MoltenVK route.
ValidationWith the fix reverted the regression fails; with only the fix restored it passes; the official prebuilt library fails it too. One-byte-buffer bounds check kept.
UpstreamClosed into maintainer integration PRs. My commits are in main's history and all 8 files from #456 are byte-identical there. Counted as consolidated, not merged.

Rotating a PDF no longer destroys it

ProblemRotate copied pages into a new document, so even 0° lost forms, bookmarks, page labels and attachments, and internal links pointed at pages missing from the output.
ApproachFor multiples of 90°, update each page's rotation and save the original document; arbitrary angles keep the old embedding path.
ValidationReal PDFs are saved and reloaded: form values stay editable, links resolve to actual page references, attachment bytes match, labels survive.
UpstreamMerged by the maintainer organisation (no written review). 10 of my 14 PDFCraft PRs are merged.

From PR #257: 4 of 5 new real-PDF round-trip cases fail before the fix.

ProblemPrefixes were written with PDFString.of(), which does not encode JavaScript Unicode text.
ApproachWrite them with PDFHexString.fromText(); numbering and range behaviour untouched. A follow-up (#264) clipped oversized ranges that froze preview and export.
ValidationReal PDF round trips across disjoint ranges and continued start values; 23 focused tests for the range parser including overflowing endpoints.
Upstream#257 and #264 both merged.

ProblemA date-only posting (2026-05-25) parsed at UTC midnight showed as May 24 in Toronto, and dividing elapsed milliseconds by 24 h miscounted days across DST.
ApproachParse YYYY-MM-DD at local midnight and compare UTC day numbers built from local calendar components.
ValidationSix added cases around local-date, tooltip, sort and clock-change boundaries, run under four time zones.
UpstreamMerged; maintainer: “nice! thanks for the contribution!” #787 and #789 were merged the same day.
